"I know. Just remember that when people you know don't know you, or vice versa."
Kurt furrowed his brow. His tail whipped the ground with a crack, then curled itself into knots. More so than Kurt's expression an indicator of his feelings, it seemed undecided wether it was angry or genuinely felt ashamed, exposed.
"Unlike some other mutants, I don't have an inherent problem with authority. I can occassionaly consider the idea that someone might be in a position to give me orders because he knows better."
And now anger was slowly taking over. There was no way he would he would listen to Creed badmouthing any team members.
"*Schwachsinn," he said sharply, his English waning as he faced Creed's smirk. "You don't have to feed me lies, you can't turn me against my team. Gambit might not be the most straightforward man around, but he wouldn't stoop to that level."
Then again... what did he know about Gambit, really? He was a capable, obviously experienced fighter and a womanizer with an easy-going attitude. His act seemed harmless enough, but now that Kurt thought about it, Remy's past was a mystery to him.
"And to stop your right there: The same goes for Logan. He never wanted to do the bad things he did," he went on, nonetheless.
