It felt strange even to him that he used this to defend his teammates' actions when previously, and actually, it was an argument for him to go easy on Creed. "There was a dimensional merger incident, so if you see two Logans, don't be surprised. In any case, no one knew you as any other than a very dangerous man."
Kurt chuckled, his burning eyes opening, bright in the perpetual shadow that seemed to collect in the middle of his face. "You insult my intelligence, Herr Creed." He let his gaze wander over Creed's body. "As far as I can say, this might be your status quo for now. If you feel healthy like this, that has to be enough."
He dropped his voice. "I know this seems unfair to you, and I admit it is. Many people here have trouble being rational around you. I can't blame them. And we simply know too little about your motives."
