Despite that he could have teleported out of the way, Kurt had stood his ground. As uncomfortable as the idea was, if he wanted to keep Creed from going to the hangar, he actually had to stay between him and the hole, even if it meant taking a hit or two.
Logan's and Remy's presence was thus appreciated. Kurt took a deep breath, smelling sweat and blood on Creed, and leaning his head back slightly to look him in the face. Upon closer inspection, Creed looked so badly beaten up Kurt felt compelled to flinch on his behalf, even knowing he had the healing factor.
The Nightcrawler himself did not really see the necessity of trying to beat Creed unconscious. They had only fought twice where he came from. The problems he had with Creed were mostly second-hand, things Logan had told him. There was animosity, yes, but not the burning hatred the other two seemed to feel. He has taken his one chance, let him explain, he thought, into the general direction of everybody connected. He was badly wounded when he got here, so maybe he speaks the truth.
Kurt was standing in front of Creed's makeshift door, just in case he got any smart ideas like bolting towards the Blackbird. "Okay, Herr Wolf, no one is attacking you yet, ja? If you have something to say, we are listening."
