Logan nodded slowly as Ragnar talked about their similarities; he remembered the previous time he counselled Ragnar after nightmares. Sure, I didn't go inta much detail but I told ya tha important shit..
He kept quiet as the Fenrisian continued to speak freely and speak about a need for friendship and brotherhood, and seeing it as deeper than "honor." Looks like he means somethin' different ta what "honor" means ta me... In spite of how alike they seemed, he knew when he was troubled he usually sought isolation to lick his wounds rather than the comfort of others - yet he also knew what a true bond felt like, one of shared beliefs and an underlying sense of alikeness which transcended any appearance differences.
When Ragnar pronounced those at the institute to be the lupine warrior's new pack, Logan could hear and smell the sincerity in the man even if he knew they didn't necessarily see the world the same way. His gaze softened as Ragnar continued and reasserted the self-determination which had been ripped from him by the Emperor; that's tha important part.
"I trust ya, Ragnar," he began to respond in a quiet rasp. "I can tell that killin' us is tha last thing ya wanna do..."
He took his arm off the Space Wolf's bicep. Yeah, ya might flip out and try... but we can defend ourselves...
"Just keep ahold o'that humanity and do tha best ya can do. I can tell it'll be enough."
