The red-blond man was initially surprised, but pleasantly so; his own arms returned the embrace wordlessly and he grinned contentedly. His hands could barely touch each other around the other side of Ragnar's body. You did not deserve the cruelty and suffering you endured. No good man deserves such an unspeakable existence.
"Aye," the thunder god responded softly as the Space Wolf spoke of their similarities. He held the hug for a few moments further, but released it easily even though he wished it would have lasted longer.
"Farewell for now, good friend," he said before he walked out of the bar.
As he made his way to his room, the Asgardian felt the ache in his chest only intensify as he contemplated the misery of Ragnar's universe. In the light of such darkness, his fanaticism would hath been his only hope.
