Behind Bobby, the Asgardian moved closer too. He even set his hammer down on the floor to persuade Ragnar to be calm. He did not know the man that well yet during their brief first meeting he saw someone that seemed to be most akin to himself in many ways. "There is nothing to fear, noble warrior," he announced steadily. "We merely seek to cure that which ails thee, that which magnifies your rage as it diminishes your body."
Thor couldn't help but let sadness in his voice as he saw Ragnar weaken and shudder; to see such pride and strength brought down is never easy to witness.
And so Thor neared the lupine man from the opposite side to which Bobby approached. Mjolnir sat dormantly. He knew his strength could overpower the Wolf if necessary, but he hoped the Norns would not make it so. "Doctor McCoy is a most gentle man," he continued reassuringly. "You hath nothing to fear. The Ice Mage's trust is well-placed."
