Loki's expression was somewhat unreadable as he listened to what distressed the girl, then his breath left in a long sigh. "Sadly, the world is quick to judge another upon their appearance. I agree with you, Miss Clarice. No man should be shackled simply because of what they might do, more because of what they have done." he reached over, gently brushing away some of the girl's tears.
"It seems that no matter a person's deed, their past will always be that which defines them. Once one has earned the label of 'monster' it is difficult to shake free of that label." He paused, frowning thoughtfully. "My only question is: Did he present with violence when he arrived? Did he show intentions to deceive and/or murder? If the answer to either of those is 'No' then we should indeed keep our eye on the feral, as we would any newcomer. I don't feel that being new and seeming to be a certain thing is grounds to shackle a person...unless that is simply what is done with newcomers. If that is the protocol of welcoming people to this place then I wonder..." He paused once more and shifted his gaze back to Thor. "Where are my shackles?"
