If this had been anyone else, Dom would have demanded answers. He knew how to listen to an order, sure, but everyone's patience and nerves were at an end at some point or other.
However, because it was Marcus commanding him to do it, he didn't. Wherever he was, whatever had happened, he could trust his old friend so far.
"Right..." He peered around the tree trunk. "I'm in a forest. At the edge of it. A good five hundred feet from here's some big villa type building."
The soldier dragged himself a few feet out of the shade to find some more landmarks. "I think there's some sort of trail or track into the forest a dozen feet to my left. And I'm sitting by a thick broadleaf tree." It was hard to identify, looking familiar enough to be found in any forest and not stick out in any remarkable fashion, yet, observing the details, not really like anything he'd seen before.
