What Brian had said did exactly what Piotr had hoped it would - it made him feel better. Especially the bit about Tory being normal and healthy, that helped the most because regardless of the circumstances. She and the baby were the most important. Pete was just about to comment on what Brian had said in the elevator when Troy really spoke for the first time in a while. But where Troy's word had been so clear, Colossus had none in response. What did you say to that? When you were the over-sized Russian who painted his feelings: nothing. He merely snatched Troy up, ignoring the end of his statement - them slacking up. It might come to that, but this was just the embrace Pete needed right now, because Troy was doing his best to handle a situation that ranged from awkward to... well, like Troy, he was just going to assume that wasn't an option.
"You're right," Pete said during his newest hug with the Native. "We will all do great." He could not see Brian, but he could only assume that the British doctor wanted to climb out of the elevator and fly away. And for that, he could not blame Brian.
The elevator stopped and Piotr was surprised to see Omen on the other side of the door, even though it was Pete who had texted him. His hand landed on the top of Troy's head and he turned it so that Torrent noticed the other man outside of the elevator.
Will had reached the elevator just in time to see the doors slide open and expose the group of some of his favorite people that rode inside of it. "Hi." Will said; he himself shocked at the timing of all of it. "I was in the physical therapy room," he explained and then reached his arms out for Troy. "C'mere." He said with a smile on his face. "I'll get some pudding if you want it." Will joked, but all of them should have known he was rarely jesting about pudding. Just before he took custody of Troy, Will glanced to Brian and offered the Brit a half-hearted smile. He wondered if the shocking developments would stop long enough for the pair to see each other anytime soon. And it probably didn't help that Will was trying to use his actual degrees in physical therapy/personal training/nutrition while helping Kiernan with the restaurant. Omen’s schedule was nearly as busy as Brian's, which made the telekine want to quit all of his jobs entirely.
"Can we see her?" Pete asked Brian, unsure which lab she was tucked into and whether or not they’d come at a bad time for four men to burst into an OB/GYN examine room... or if there was ever a good time for that.
