Warren's light eyes had been locked on her own since his arrival, and she's raised her eyebrows in mild surprise that Warren had met Captain America previously and hadn't bragged it up. She crossed her arms under her chest and listened with focus to the exchanges between the men, and her chest raised and lowered with mild defeat when Warren said they weren't able to get the info they'd been after. The cold shoulder wasn't something new to the X-Men, though.
"...But I was going to say affiliated with the school." Eva snorted out a near-silent breath of amusement and let her arms fall. Steve was right, and it irked her. But the hero's intentions helped to soothe that ache a bit. "Thank you," she interjected, then quirked an eyebrow when he requested backup. Luke looked like he might start to whine like a dog who'd been told to 'stay' but just wanted to follow his master. She smirked, and sighed, then bit her top lip. "I'll take him over there and see if we can figure some things out," she winked at Jon, then. They'd come back with the names (and more) if she went, and at least it might rattle the police to see the Captain America was involved and interested. She avoided Angel's gaze, almost purposely (almost) when Eva spoke once more to Steve. "Should I drive, or should I grab a helmet?" She was mostly teasing, but the professor was no stranger to the back of a motorcycle. Being taught to drive by Cyclops, Wolverine and Forge had its benefits.
