"Right now it is," Troy confirmed, head bobbing in a nod. "Yeah," the hydrokine smirked, "Don't worry about it - I'm low man on the totem pole, I get it." His hand was strong. Mmmm. But the guy genuinely seemed nice. Diplomatic, even. Man. He was like 'Merica's Brian. Gross. "I'll go get her - she's in class right now. Gotta keep things movin'," Troy threw his hands out to the sides as he walked the first few steps backwards, then turned as he lowered his arms and headed casually for the teaching kitchen.
His head appeared first. "Zap."
"This is a garnish, so try to use a delica-"
"ZAP."
"Hm?" Eva's head turned to the door to see her classmate-turned-colleague beckoning her towards him. "Keep working, class, I'll be right back." She brushed off her hands and hustled towards Torrent. "What's up?"
"There's some dude here to see you - not a cop. Said he's here to help with the Logan sitch."
Her brown eyes met Troy's and she tried to read him as best she could. "Did he give a name?"
"I don't remember, he just wanted to talk to you."
"Is he dangerous?"
"Maybe to the eyyyyyesss..." And Troy pulled back from the doorway, pointed down the hall towards the foyer and then gave her double hand guns, his customary 'I'm out'.
