Thor listened to Eva, her words buckets of water on his fiery disposition. He huffed through his nose and attempted to clear his mind and focus on the group of people he, the king, was about address. A tragedy had befallen his kingdom but still worse, a murderer was on the loose. When Eva finished, Thor's eyes fixated on her and he nodded toward her in acknowledgement. "Thank you, Eva," he told his wife sincerely, then walked out toward his chair. The chamber fell silent for a moment, broken by the sounds of chairs, and greeting hurled at the Allfather. His hands touched the back of his chair, he paused a moment for Nathaniel to sit, then Thor addressed the room. "A child has died," he didn't mince his words. "A child everyone in this room was charged with protecting," he clarified, a quiet rage beneath each of his words. "Since this gruesome discovery, nothing has been allowed to leave our realm. I believe the perpetrator is still among us. Regardless of whatever tasks or duties you and your subordinates are responsible for, it's suspended. We are not to rest until this mystery is solved and the guilty party is punished," Thor explained then carefully pulled Eva's chair from the table before them. "Did you have any words?" he asked quietly, if not, he'd open the council to discussion.
