"Outrageous," he defended himself dryly. "You spending every night in here with me would be great... for us," Nathaniel added, usually having Eva's well-being ahead of things like, her realm.
Nate smiled when she reaffirmed her love for him (out loud even!) and he happily returned her volley. "That's reassuring, I love you too," he added then let out a surprised man-giggle at her Adam's apple kiss. He grumbled a pleasant noise because she followed it up with a nuzzle.
"You smell different, don't freak out."
He freaked out.
"It's different - but good."
Nate relaxed, but made mental note to fetch his soap and detergent from Asgard the next time he was there. Mustn't change too drastically, he thought, the forest nymph secured in his arms.
Eva offered a lounge and Nate was all about that. His coat slid off with ease and he pulled Eva closer to the bed with the bad duvet cover. "What's so dire?" Nate wondered about her conversation with the Allfather, the newly crowned king admittedly behind on his Asgardian news. "Anything I can help with?" Realm-wise or marital-wise, he was involved with both. Nathaniel lifted Eva from the floor and gently laid her down on what had become her-side whenever they'd shared his bed, and planted a kiss on the goddess' forehead. "I considered mirrors for the ceiling," he teased, "missed opportunity."
