"I can assist you, Lady Zap. In some of the mystic ways. As can Wong, one of Dr. Strange's wizard associates. He's in New York. And your warriors two. No doubt they will play an important role."
"Just Zap - please. Or Eva," she cut in, but trailed off when Dr. Strange was mentioned. "Does that mean Strange is...?" Gone or missing. She sighed. She'd never met Wong, but she'd heard his name. Long before Strange's. "We'll have to make the trip," she offered, by way of agreement.
"We should inform Banner. Tell him we are staying here for the foreseeable future. Oh, my apologies. Is this for anyone?"
Troy looked from Jimmy to Thor and back again several times during their exchange, perpetually nodding in agreement with what both larger men had to say. Warriors Two. Thor was sleeping over. Wine was being opened. It's gonna be a good day, Tater. "We'll do it," Troy added, as if the possibility of them not helping existed. "He's strong, flies and fast, and I can grow whatever mystical herbs and crap you need," Hemlock explained, in case their mutations could come in handy down the road.
"Great, a muscle head and a gardener..." Rocket nodded, having taken in a lot of what was said, but not all. What? There were a lot of shiny things in the room.
"Excuse you, we're both gardeners," Troy corrected.
"Shhh," Zap uttered, before realizing that she wasn't addressing her son and other children, but three grown beings. She held up both hands in apology then looked to Thor purposefully. "Bottoms up," she gestured, the looked at Rocket. "Do you want to-" he was wandering off.
He returned from the shelving with a bottle in each paw. "Hm?" He pulled a cork with his muzzle, spit it out, took a swig, then looked up at the lightning lady. "Yes?"
"-go see the workshop now?"
"Alright."
Troy's eyes shifted and he made silent contact with Jimmy's in a shared 'wtf' moment, then motioned for Rocket to follow him. "I'll take 'im. C'mon Ricky Raccoon."
"It's Rocket."
"Like... a pocket rocket?"
"That's just obscene."
And they both laughed as they crossed out of the cellar and into the hallway.
"We've made a terrible mistake," Zap said to no one with wide eyes, then glanced at Jimmy a bit helplessly, but with a small smirk on her lips. "Don't drink, you get stabby," she warned. "I'll see about getting you two rooms." God knew they had some to spare. "Thank you - for filling us in." And for the hope. That was good too. "They don't match," Zap called over her shoulder to Thor as she left the cellar.
