When Eva spoke of his home and the All-father, Thor offered a very-small-less-unhinged smile to show his appreciation of her words and sentiment. In a demented turn of events, the destruction of Asgard and his father's passing were old wounds - numbed and scared over by now. Even though they happened just before the attack on their Asgardian lifeboat and the murders Thor was forced to witness.
"Thank you, Eva. These are trying times for everyone." Odinson told Zap while he pressed his palm on his armor, directly over his heart. "But even when we reverse Thanos' atrocities, complete with me driving my axe through his skull, that won't bring Asgard or Odin back." Thor took a moment to look around and finally realized where they were. "Your father however..." His hand returned to her shoulder and gave the inventor an encouraging jostle. "We will bring him back." Thor trailed off and snatched up a bottle from the small table in the center of the room. After a moment of examining the wine, the thunder god gracefully fell down into the leather-bound chair he'd been standing next to. "I can assist you, Lady Zap. In some of the mystic ways. As can Wong, one of Dr. Strange's wizard associates. He's in New York. And your warriors two. No doubt they will play an important role." Thor peeled open the wrap around the neck of the wine bottle, then searched his surroundings for something sharp. Rocket had a small screwdriver attached to his belt, which the Avenger borrowed. "We should inform Banner. Tell him we are staying here for the foreseeable future." Thor invited himself not out of rudeness but necessity. He jabbed the cork with the stolen tool and pulled the stopper from the bottle. "Oh, my apologies. Is this for anyone?" He asked Eva, legitimately embarrassed he'd yet to inquire.
"Warriors Two..." Jimmy quietly stopped himself from just saying 'bitchin' out loud again. "Absolutely we can help." Warpath didn't know squat about magic, the dark arts, or Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But he was one of the three living experts on ol' man Forge. If he could do anything to help Eva get in tune with her inner Harry Potter, the Apache would certainly fucking try. "I know this situation is pretty messed up, but Thor just walked in, called us warriors, and gave us a quest. That's epic."
"He gets it," Thor pointed the bottle at Jimmy and grinned again. "Eva, you and I can start tonight and what's wrong with my eye?" He wondered aloud, then realized he hadn't looked in many mirrors since being gifted the robotic globe.
