Thor... Whoa. Warpath was uncharacteristically starstruck, like that time he sprung for meet-and-greet tickets with Metallica. Despite the clandestine and somber nature of the gathering, Jimmy found it difficult to focus. His eyes rarely left the demigod, not even to watch his trash panda friend, who honestly just reminded him of a furry Troy... except, you know, useful.
"Excellent," Thor declared immediately, then manically smiled. Suddenly the gloomy thunder god was filled with an excitement that felt foreign to the Asgardian; an energy that to anyone who'd paid attention would notice was born from exhaustion. "This is perfect." His hand landed on Eva's shoulder and gave the newly blessed shaman a squeeze of encouragement. "Together..." he narrowed his gaze on her, "we will right the wrongs of the mad Titan and get our revenge."
"Bitchin'," Jimmy said with a newfound respect for Eva, bestowed by Thor, and his eyes focused on the meeting of Zap's shoulder and Thor's arm. "Couple questions Mr. Thunder God, sir?" Warpath started, using his best adult voice. "How will we get said vengeance? And after we get this vengeance can we go to Asgard? Also when did you decide to cut your powerful mane?" Long-haired fanboys needed to know.
"Yes, bitchin'." Thor agreed with the taller of Zap's warriors. However, when Proudstar asked his first question, Thor realized he'd put the cart before the horse in classic 'Thor fashion'. This discovery was their best lead in weeks, he was hesitant to quell his own enthusiasm. "Lady Zap's father..." he turned back to face Eva, "your father was incredibly powerful and had access to knowledge only the most elite wizards of this world knew. If any of that was transferred to you... hope is not lost." He smiled again at their luck.
"As for Asgard, I'm afraid it's been destroyed. My evil sister... Ragnarok..." Thor waved his hand as though his story told itself and everybody understood. "I was in the process of leading the rest of my people here, to earth, when Thanos attacked." The Asgardian's newly found excitement dampened slightly, "I may be the last of my race."
"And I was also forced to be a gladiator on an alien world where I had to fight Banner before we escaped and triggered a revolution... they cut my hair." Thor had breezed through his final story then sighed... it had been a long few weeks. "But that isn't important now. Your father had a gift for technology as well?" Thor asked, already aware of Zap's talent. "Would Rocket be permitted to investigate his inventions? The captain is also a skilled engineer."
