Zap sighed, but only internally. Outward, she was steadfast. Kiernan was family. He was the head telepath. He was trustworthy. And she hadn't intended to frighten anyone - to make people tense. But she knew that's exactly what Mikhail had in mind. Then again... the presence of the head telepath might seem a little suspicious. "Diamond is fine."
Weekend plans? She quirked an amused eyebrow and Zap's face lightened. "I can't make plans," or promises within her private life, "but I'd like to get some fresh air and see Faolan for more than an hour. If you want help with the repairs though, I can make time," she offered, quite seriously. She'd just sentenced Dom to a weekend of annoying physical and mental labor. But if he enlisted some staff, they'd get it done in a day, she imagined.
"I'm still going to hatch more than you, regardless." Pokemon eggs. All the tunnels and moving sidewalks and speed walking the folks who worked in the MU had to endure was great for Pokemon Go purposes. She shot a buzz of static over Dom's already-spiked blond hair and it fizzled playfully. "Oh, and I'm going to ban all advisors from my house for the next 48 hours," she added suddenly and shot Mikhail a look before it cracked into a smirk. She wanted to let Dom know Mikhail's words and thoughts weren't final and she wasn't always completely on board with whatever he or Nate had to say. Still, she'd agreed with him on a few points and she was grateful. Mikhail's involvement had become increased in recent months and it was an adjustment for some of the other staff; she understood that. Her reasons for putting trust and stock in him were her own, though.
"Just tap me if you want help, okay? This isn't a huge deal. We'll fix it fast." Her smile had warmed again, mostly because Dom was adorable and refreshing and she didn't want to let him down or worry him more than she needed to.
