"Sorry to bother you, Eva. You'd asked me about the additional money I'd requested for repairs... So I looked into it."
Dom was always welcome in her office - he knew that. She sensed, though, that the pleasantries were due to Mikhail's presence, which was... unfortunate. Zap smiled, nonetheless, and urged Dom to speak on what he'd come to discuss.
"I thought you'd like to see it for yourself. Eva. These are attacks on our system. Someone or some group is attempting to disrupt our network."
There were multiple (too many) points of 'attack' on the image Dom had called up and her eyebrows raised in annoyed surprise. This was Dom's department - literally. Neither he nor any of his staff had caught onto what was happening until there were multiple occurrences? There was little-to-no way that these attacks were external. They were nearly one-hundred percent mutant-driven, so that left the question 'who?'. "Do the repairs. Talk to Erik - whatever you need. Ramp up security." Her eyes drifted toward Mikhail then, who'd clearly expressed himself with only a guttural noise. She sighed. "I would call a mandatory meeting of all techno- and cyberpaths, and of those with engineering experience - including people like Shadowcat, and so on. We can discuss a variety of topics and we'll have a senior AMC present for security. Hopefully, we can get some answers that way." Zap stood then and moved around the circular table to get a better look at Dom's image.
They were so sporadic that it was hard to pinpoint a likely culprit. Either multiple groups were working together, or someone was doing double duty and in tandem with a transporter to get this sort of coverage. "We'll figure it out," the majesty assured her head techie. "Send this to Forge and whatever other intel you have - any recordings or transmissions that seemed even slightly suspect." Her hand rose and squeezed Dom's upper arm to show she wasn't upset. Not at him, anyway. "Good work - keep at it. Anything else? If not, we're both dismissed," she laughed lightly, and her smile was present but weak. Eva's eyes shifted once again to Mikhail to show him she hadn't forgotten about his interjections.
"Oh, Dom? Make up a roster for the meeting - don't ask anyone else to do it."
