"We could negotiate moving to one of the property's houses," she said with a laugh when Logan questioned her suite suggestion. After stepping into the shower, Zap's body tensed as she safely siphoned the excess electricity she harbored, in anticipation of Logan joining her. He didn't right away, which surprised her a little. She'd gotten all soaped up by the time he came into his bathroom.
She listened carefully over the sound of the showerhead and falling water. Logan was using his thousand-yard-stare voice. "...cabin...woods...disappear..." She smiled, even though she knew he wasn't joking. He was trying to be his best for her. He always was, though, and she wasn't sure he was aware. When the Wolverine stepped into the shower, she leaned back into him for a few seconds and pulled his arms around her waist.
"I'm not going to let anything bad happen to either of you. I swear."
"Ditto." Eva was just as fierce as Logan, in spirit, and she loved him enough to actually live in the damned woods if he insisted. They were going to be okay. Zap's lips were closed until she leaned back and kissed his ear. "Now... get out of your head or I'm going to name this thing after Scott." To soothe his soul after her threat, Eva turned in his arms and kissed him once, then slipped out of his grip straight down to her knees. Just one more quickie.
