Illyana watched and listened to Troy through a prism of concern mixed with confusion. She believed the important parts of his message came in clear, between the randomness and... just plan weird shit. Smell the Constitution? Perhaps, her English had failed her - she'd google it later.
"Maybe just a strongly worded letter from HR." She offered a counter proposely, then carried a blanket from the bed and wrapped it around Troy's shoulders. Illyana looked out of the window behind Troy and made sure he hadn't just flashed any students downstairs. The coast seemed clear. "Come. Sit." Magik steered him back to the bed, and sat down on the edge next to her boyfriend.
"Troy," Illyana made sure they had eye contact before she started. His dark, soulful eyes filled the Russian girl with a deep sense of purpose. Had the revelation annoyed her? Yes. But clearly Hemlock was conflicted, clearly he felt guilty about which also meant he cared about her. "I get it." She of all people wouldn't judge someone for acting on their emotions and desires. She wasn't exactly known for her level-headed approach to most things. "Just be honest with me because I do love you and I want to make you happy." She offered a small smirk. "But, I don't know what I'd do if you cheated on me." Her eyes went wide and she ducked in under his shoulder. "Really, I don't know." Cats and dogs living together...
Funky Town started to play, and Illyana reached over to grab Troy's phone. She opened the text message from her brother and read it aloud to Hemlock. "Have you seen Frice?"
