Re: 20 Minutes Later
Well, Ronan looked like absolute shit. But the goodness that had come out after having a child in her universe's Ronan had just blossomed in this Ronan as well. She could see it. "He always is, apparently," Maria responded about Ronan being an asshole - according to Cas. "I'm never going to be ready..." Urska sighed. There was an altogether jet-lagged feeling coursing through her body and mind. No, jet-lag was an understatement, but it was the best comparison she had to help herself cope. And she was most likely going to be squatting permanently on edge. Call it her new abode. "Minor makes room for Minor," she reminded the inventor, with a very small smirk, and she released her daughter and nodded for her to go bond. It was going to be crucial. The Rojas women would have plenty of time to catch up with one another. But her grandson needed his parents with him now.
Eva had slowly taken her hand from her mother's neck and watched as Faolan and Ronan held tight to one another, through bleary, tear-filled eyes. When Maria released her, Eva moved to stand and looked at her father, then shook her head 'no'. She wasn't okay. But she smiled and took his hand for a brief moment before kissing it and then turning away from her parents (whoa) and facing her son and his father. She stepped closer until the toes of her shoes were against Faolan's soles, then she sighed heavily; raggedly, and eased down to be on their level. "He's our son," she confirmed, albeit belatedly. Still, just as awe-struck and joyous as Ronan had been when he'd uttered the words moments before. Zap's hands moved to Fway's hair, then one shifted to touch Ronan's face and she bent forward so that she could place a kiss on top of the boy's head.
"We'll be a family," he said, with certainty.
Zap's tired, emotion-wrecked face cracked a smile at that. "Yes - you have both of us now, and your abuela, and papi - that's what Ren calls him. And Ren, your sister..." she told him.
