"I've been good. Keeping busy," Remus finally said. Keeping busy so he wouldn't constantly think of Severus and act like the hormonal teenager he was afraid he was turning into around the man. But Severus had missed him, and perhaps he had had just as much trouble keeping his thoughts away from Sunday and the kissing and what could almost have happened that night.
"I missed you as well." Remus said sincerely, knowing how utterly ... schoopy it sounded, even if it was the truth. He was still holding Severus' cloak, still holding himself back.
"The house is still standing, I presume." He felt like a fool, making inconsequential small talk like that.
