Nodding at Harry's words, Kingsley pushed his teacup around at the desk. The manipulative Albus Dumbledore was scary. Somehow, Kingsley was very glad the war was over, not only because of Lord Voldemort's demise, but also because he could see how Albus' machinations had damaged people, ruined lives. Maybe there had been no limit to what he would have done, he would have ended up as another Galadriel, Kingsley thought. A terrible regent for the sake of the good, but ending up doing the evil. But she had resisted the temptation. Albus had not. Kingsley shook his head. He had to stop reading so many Muggle books.
'I don't think he'll welcome you exactly. But I am fairly certain I can get him to talk to you sooner or later. You know what a temper he has, he'll see reason when he is through denying to talk to you and bicker.
