Charlie smiled, nodding his head at the gnome comment. His mind became ease as Millicent let the conversation about the cookbook drop. "I'll keep you in mind, Love," Charlie added, "I'm always in need of armadillo spleen."
Charlie shifted his weight from one foot to the other. He caught a glimpse of the clock behind the counter. The hour read 1:37 p.m. Charlie's stomach gave a lurch. "Well, Millicent," Charlie smiled at the shy looking girl, "it was a pleasure meeting you. Expect to here from me at the start of next term for a fresh stock of spleen."
Charlie, ever the flirt, winked at Millicent before diving down the next isle looking for a book about dragon scales.
