Millicent nodded, considering her words carefully as she followed Charlie toward the front stacks. She'd been taught to be cautious about revealing too much about herself to strange wizards, and this kept her from blurting out that he'd most likely heard of her from her cottage mate Tonks or her landlady Rosmerta. Instead, she couched a reasonable explanation for Charlie's awareness of her name inside a sales pitch.
"You must have seen the ad in The Prophet for my creature breeding business. It runs every week," she said. "I'm promoting a fantastic new line of racing fish."
She hoped Charlie was interested in fish and would stop talking about dragons. Even stories about them made her nervous.
