Remus' birthday at the Leaky - Completed
Who: Remus Lupin and anybody who wants to come to his birthday.
Where: The Leaky Cauldron, London.
When: Monday from 8pm and onward.
Rating: TBD
Other info: Since it's a public place, others who weren't invited might wander in as well, this means the post is basically open for all in the game. Just keep it civil and nice :D or Remus will bite your arse. for details on this thread, go here.
ETA: Because I've been insanely slow and tired and haven't been as much around as I wanted to, I'm keeping this open a while longer (and because I'm enjoying it), but only for the rest of Wednesday.
The Leaky Cauldron was usually fairly empty on Monday evenings so Remus didn't think it would end up too crowded to have a small informal birthday. As he looked around the place, he smiled a little, telling himself to relax. He had no idea who would come, other than Severus of course, but it would be all right.
He knew people likely would wonder why Severus Snape was invited, and perhaps even suspect something was going on. So, in a way he was sort of easing into admitting openly that he was in a relationship with Severus. He was still very unsure about it though, mostly because of Dora. It was in no way fair to her, and he wondered if not she would suspect he'd known about Severus being alive before he'd left her. That they'd been involved before, perhaps even while Remus had been with her. He really needed to talk to her about it, honestly. Veritaserum might be a possibility, but a risky one. Not all truths should be stated out loud, least of all the painful ones.
Remus pushed his hands into his pockets and looked at the flames dancing in the fireplace, trying not to think too hard or too deeply about things like that. If he looked worried, that would surely set off people and he didn't want that.
Granted of course, that anybody came. He'd been awfully late with the invitation and knew many might have prior engagements. But with all that had happened, he'd simply forgot...
