Hello, Defense Force members. [A somewhat more official, yet still friendly, tone.] Suzaku would like to thank everyone for their adherence to his instructions. Those who are guarding the perimeter, please be vigilant about not allowing anyone through. Patrol members are instructed to report any concerning activity over official filters right away.

Anyone with abilities that allow them to withstand an explosion safely, please contact myself or Suzaku to volunteer for searches within or in the immediate area of HQ. Anyone else who feels they can assist in any way, please respond immediately.

As far as punishment for the perpetrator, it is still under consideration.

[Well, here she was in Sector 5. She planned on trying one flavor a day just like Gear had suggested, but that was easier said than done when there were so many to choose from in the first place! Her eyes drifted from flavor to flavor as she bit her lip in concentration; she was only going to get one shot at this, after all. One self-imposed shot, but a shot nonetheless.

Still, it wasn't like she could stay here forever. It was cold, after all! Even with her coat on she still knew that much. Maybe she could ask the network...]

Good morning, Marina! [Have a very smiley pink haired girl on your video feed!] For anyone I haven’t met, I’m Lacus Clyne and I’m very glad to meet you.

It seems as though we’re all going to be in the shelter today, so we should make the best of things. I was thinking that we should get together and have a big winter banquet! Anyone who wants to help cook should please feel free to come to the kitchens and assist, and if not you should still come and enjoy the food with us.

Dinner will be served at 5 in the main cafeteria, and after that maybe we could have fun playing games and watching movies together. I hope everyone has a good day, and I hope to see everyone at the feast!

I have been giving a great deal of thought to the incident a few weeks ago, and your -- opinions on what happened. I think I have decided that I cannot excuse what the Engineers do in the name of entertainment. It feels like -- an abuse of their power.

[ Subaru is skating along, dressed MUCH warmer compared to normal and she is skating along at minimal power.

Why? Because her partner for the day, Commisar Gaunt, is tagging along with his own inline skates for part of the walk. It's... kind of dangerous. Even though Subaru doesn't expect anything to happen, but that's why she agreed to let him wear those for just one Sector's worth (close to the DF HQ), and only with appropriate safety gear on.

Though they're working, I'm sure they can spare a few moments for anyone who stops them, or rush to the aid of anyone who's having any kind of emergency, no matter how small. ]

Alright, I'm off! [ Subaru might not have been assigned any shifts today, but she still wanted to help around where she could. Plus, she had to finish presenting her findings about the Shelter's current emergency exit strategies, and how she'll hold drills in the future. She pauses at the door to wave goodbye to whomever is in the front room. ] If anyone needs me, I'll be at the skating rink tonight -- everyone's welcome to join in if you want! [ And she looks pleased as punch to announce this as she steps out, hoping to have some new faces show up tonight. She can be stopped if someone has a question. ]

[ Sector 5 ]
[ Subaru can be spotted in a tracksuit, with a large rods balanced on her shoulders. The back half of the metal stick has skates slung over it in pairs bound together with their heavy laces. It looks to be about a dozen sets... Her other arm is dragging along a big cooler.

She's headed straight for the skating rink, and she's singing along under her breath to something upbeat playing on her headphones. But if she spots someone headed in the same direction, she'll mute the music and at least say "hi!" ]

[ Skating Rink ]
[ The rink has been converted from an ice skating floor to a roller derby track as it often is when Subaru visits, but tonight there are no obstacles. She's sitting on a bench, the extra skates laid out next to her, and just waits for company. In the meantime, she'll be calling everyone who expressed interest in skating in the past. MOMO, Kohran, Fou, etc. Hopefully everyone has some free time to at least pick up their custom skates, if not take them for a spin!

Also, because skating works up an appetite, that cooler from before is stuffed with cold cut sandwiches and bottles of water for anyone who's in the rink and needs a snack! ]
