[Did you know that you can do pop quizzes in a physical education class? Cain is certainly glad to prove it. Today, everyone will be drilled on everything they've practiced and learned so far until they're sweaty, lightly bruised, and/or tired.]

[Newer students will be given a much easier test than the ones who have been around since day one of the class, and those just joining today will be tested on their existing skills.]

Good evening, Marina! The sun is about to set and, as promised, tonight's special class is about to begin. [ The lights in the dome flicker on across the streets, in preparation for the impending onset of night. Neil isn't anywhere near the park, as is obvious from his vantage point. The projector cannot be seen in the frame, but there is the sound of something mechanical whirring and winding up not far from him. ] There's no formal lesson tonight, but I hope everyone gathered in the park -- or anywhere you can get a good view of the dome itself -- will still take something away from it.

[ The daylight fades out, and a bright source of light nearby illuminates his face. He's smiling wide as the projection of the desert sun over Africa is displayed on the inside of the glass just above the athletic complex fields in Sector 6. ] We have shown the stars in past lessons from an outside perspective, and it's easy to forget that we can take in the same kind of beauty from the ground with just the naked eye.

[ His own right eye, the fake one, reflects the light as the sky slowly shifts to images of sunsets. Is that a celestial body in the sky? Perhaps it was Venus.

As most of you are aware, there is a ball to be held tomorrow, and I'm sure there are those who would like to get some practice in before then. Well, you're in luck. [It's time for another hour filled with amateur sword-swinging! Preferably without accidentally throwing it, and even more preferably without the sudden projectile smacking into the back of someone's head.]

[Today's class focuses on defensive moves. After a demonstration on basic blocks and parries, he sets his students up with helmets and light armor and divides them up into rotating pairs. Cain will come around and offer commentary, or pair up with students as needed. Or scold people who are slacking off (too much), as he expects people to work hard in his class.]

[The end of class is reserved for the experienced swordspeople who want to vigorously smack each other with sword-shaped sticks. Students are invited to stay and watch, but Cain won't yell at them if they sneak off.]

[ judges it warm and dry enough to have class outside, again, by the tree. he's brought a ball and little bag with slips of paper in it for this class, intending to play a game. the book he read recommended games; he is skeptical, but it's worth a shot. he's kind of looking forward to the class... after the last few days, being in control of his element sounds pretty good right now. ]

Well, it looks like I've lost my mind as well as my sense of taste, because my class is not canceled. But today is optional, so don't sweat it if you don't feel up to coming.

I'm also extremely reluctant to encourage attendance from those of you without eyesight, but if you're really aching to come to class, I can find some safe activities for you. Just... don't try to get here by yourself. Use the buddy system, preferably with someone who can see.

[He's expecting light attendance today, but it's something to do and it gives Eridan a way to amuse himself for an hour. For those who show up, Cain will walk his students through a variety of warm-ups and some basic moves. For the very beginners, he'll give them some exercises against dummies and stationery targets to get used to handling a sword and offer them advice as they go. More advanced students can either spar with each other or Cain near the end of class, or work on their form as desired.]

[By popular request, Jennifer will be teaching everyone the wonders of omurice today! Something a little easier and simplistic then previous recipes but no less delicious. And for those completely brand new, a simple omelet recipe and, worse comes to worse, the wonders of making scrambled eggs. Either way, Jennifer will be very surprised if there are any major mishaps today outside of eggshells in the pan and running eggs.]

[It's been a while since she's seen Hiling or Ribbons so Jennifer's made her way to their house. It was only a little out of her way and since she had been in the shelter kitchens, she had made a small cake for Hiling since she liked them so much ♥ She'd never stop by empty handed! At least not when she's uninvited...]

[It's the first day of Basic Meditation class!

Since it's cold out, Maya alerted the students via communicator they'd be meeting at the Training Hall for the morning and into the foreseeable winter. At least until that waterfall gets installed.

[The class really doesn't cover much, since about half of it is Maya getting distracted and rambling a bit, but she does mention the very basics and purpose of meditation, and the last fifteen minutes she has the class attempt to meditate.]

[This is Lelouch's literature class! It's the second class but the first one I'm logging out so if your character showed up for the first one, they will be expected to have read Gulliver's Travels Gallagher's Travails! Lelouch has extra books and will be handing out worksheets he wrote up to discuss the book: most notably he'll be explaining the satirizing of politics, the underlying questioning of whether humans are innately corrupt, and the warning against scientific progress.

Oy, Marina! I wanted to let anyone know who wanted to show up for soccer practice today that, because of the weather, I'm going to be holding the lesson inside. [ He's also going to be there a full hour early. It's to have lunch with Sakura, catch her up with the first two lessons and, well, anything else that comes to her mind. ]

[Today, Ribbons had foregone the sporty attire and had on more of an academic attire. Which is just fitting as the first forty minutes of today's dance class is comprised of an overview of ballroom dancing etiquette -- from asking someone to dance, to being modest and never blaming one's partner for misshaps. The last twenty minutes are given to applying the lesson, and of course, practice dancing.]

All students attending the art class should attempt to bring a mirror with them. Nothing too small, but large enough that you can see your entire face. If you can't, you'll have to share the ones I will provide.

[When you enter the art room you'll see that the paint still hasn't been removed from the walls. Soubi's not concerned about it, because at least it came off the chalkboards. The walls can be a lesson for another day.

Today is a day for self-portraits. Students will be asked to draw themselves as they believe they look and then pull out the mirrors they have brought or will borrow and draw a more accurate portrait based on what they see in the mirror. This project will continue for the next two class periods as the two images will be cut in half and combined to make a symmetrical portrait of each student. Students who would like to be more creative can use any artistic medium they want for the portraits (oil paints, watercolors, clay, colored pencils, etc).]

Suzaku has also gathered a few different methods of protecting yourself during sex: a box of individually-wrapped condoms, a little package of birth control, a dental dam, etc. This, too, is for an overview. ]
