[There's a brief silence at the beginning of the transmission, one filled with hesitation, but then a rough voice can be heard muttering something unintelligble, to be followed by a softer voice answering in a mild tone, though the words of the second speaker are also indistinct. An idea has occurred to the parasite--and to D, if the dhampir is honest with himself. It's the parasite, however, who drives D to make a brief statement for all to hear.]

If there are those who wish to ride the horses now housed within the dome, but have limited or no knowledge of them, I would be willing to offer assistance and instruction to any who require it.

[Given that all of the animals within Marina are unusually accommodating, D expects that the inherent risks of horseback riding may be mitigated, but that's no excuse for prospective riders to not be taught how to go about things properly. At the very least, it will save the horses from enduring the unpleasantries of inept handling. He would expect other horsemen and women within the dome to agree.]

[ooc: I know he just posted a few days ago, but as a rider, I couldn't get this idea out of my head, and his CR is kind of lending itself to the idea. I'd like D to start offering riding instruction on a regular basis as a class through Marina's educational program.]

[WELL YOU GONE AND DONE IT NOW MARINA. Zinda's all business in this feed, her usual charming smile nowhere to be found. hint: it's because she's tired and a teeny bit hungover.]

For any of ya that might have been worried, the bomb threat inside the Defense Force has been located and disabled [....If you can call that being disabled.] , and we have a suspect in custody. The threat has been dealt with, and we can all resume back to business as usual.

Anyone with questions can direct 'em to the usual parties, or, y'know, you could just ask me. [She salutes- and the feed cuts off, just for a minute. It flashes back on as an after thought, and this time she looks more playful.]

[In Jeanne's absence, Inara has taken over responsibility for the scheduled spa day. She's made over the public baths in an attempt to give it a tropical theme. There's fruit on tables, a sort of fruity punch. She's got some fake palm trees set up and there's a mix of 'tropical' music that includes some Bob Marley playing.

There are stations for pedicures, manicures, massages, soaking baths, facials, body wraps and the like. Inara will be happy to give massages upon request. Mingle, relax and enjoy the spa day.]

[Plan fulfilled. She and Reid talked about going to a movie and that's just what they did.

Kitty gives just a slight stretch as she steps out of the dark theater into the lobby. The film was a little longer than she was expecting, but not bad. Plus, popcorn and soda makes everything better. Especially when you occasionally toss a piece of the popcorn at your movie companion and then pretend like someone else did it even when no one else had come inside. Hey, she let him pick the movie. This balances it!

The face melting was pretty realistic.

[If you've entered the new stables today, you've likely run into this guy. He's the random person sleeping in one of the stalls, particularly the one holding the white mare. He's also been spending time with the other nine horses in the stables. He got there early, having been waiting for this day since he was given approval for the request ten days ago.

He hasn't left the stables at all since getting there. Even with the emotional day he's had, it's still the most calming place for him to be.

There's a strong chance he won't be leaving the building until he absolutely has to--probably to take a shower or patrol. The thing is, he'll most likely be returning the moment he's finished with either of these tasks.

To be honest, he hadn't slept this well since Ichiru left the facility months ago.

One might eventually believe he's moved into the stables and abandoned his room. It isn't like he has many personal belongings in his room anyway to determine one way or the other.

Currently, he's awake though and spending time with a dapple gray horse that is enjoying her grooming. Walking past, one might notice there is now a name on the outside of the stall. Stormy Skies.
