It takes her a moment, but eventually she speaks up, her voice serious and a bit monotonous as well.]

Ah-- greetings. My name is Lieutenant Commander Data of the Federation Starship Enterprise.

A cursory observation of my surroundings indicates that I no longer have the ability to establish contact with my ship, be it through technology in place blocking communication channels or, as has been claimed, by my removal into an alternate universe. I am unable to perform any scans on my current location, as my equipment has been removed upon my arrival here. I have, however, gained access to this communication network, and made myself familiar with its use among those who have become similarly trapped within this environment.

While the transmission I received appears to offer some explanation for my coming here, it is unlikely that there is much validity to the claims made therein. A lack of specificity in alleged transgressions, as well as a generic greeting seemingly provided to all abductees, indicates that our captors have provided us with false pretenses. Additionally, there has never been any record of an individual being removed from a timeline to preserve its integrity, nor has there been any record of interference being made upon any occasion in which the stability of a timeline has been imperiled.

May I ask, have there been attempts made to discern our location with greater specificity, or to find the means through which we have been brought here and, therefore, may be returned to our respective homes?

[There's still a bit of static before the device turns on more clearly, revealing a dark haired woman who might seem a bit familiar if you know her two sons. Mikoto is looking just a bit frustrated at her arrival here. She picks up the device itself attempting to use it to see if it'll help with her questions or not]

There has to be some sort of misunderstanding here. Now I am aware of what we're told here but if we're supposed to stay here, that hardly sounds reassuring even if this place hardly looks like what it's supposed to be.

It's a bit worrying actually, I have a family to get back to, after all.

Though since people can hear me from this-- would there be anyone else from Konoha here as well, by any chance? Or maybe...do the names Sasuke or Itachi sound familiar at all to anyone here?
