Hashiba Touma/Tenku no Touma
[Touma laid out on the grass of the park. His hands were folded under his head, giving off the impression of him being relaxed. However, as he stared up at the projected sky (which he appreciated the thought of whoever came up with that idea, even if it wasn't quite the same as the real thing), his thoughts churned.

He'd already decided that the welcome basket (good cookies, by the way) and the message from their 'warden' meant that this wasn't another portal problem made up by Mukala. And, seeing as how this really did appear to be an underwater prison after all, he knew he certainly wasn't in Africa anymore. The fact that he had lost Nasti, Jun and Shuu was troubling to say the least, but he couldn't do anything for them now from here. He had to get home first.

And on that thought tangent, where was 'here'? Where were they? Who had created this Acumen? Was there a way to access the programming? Was there access to the outside world at all?

He had studied the small communicator after waking up, fascinated by the technology. It hadn't taken him long to figure it out. With only three buttons, the functions were very simple for him. He clicked it on, deciding to get right to the point with what he wanted to say.]

So this Acumen computer... it's an artificial intelligence , right? A program? Has anyone tried getting it to short-circuit or something to send us all back? Computers can be overloaded, you know.

{OOC: I have icons of Touma in his armor and undergear because, well, they spend most of the series in that, so those make up most of the screencaps out there. However, like Seiji and Ryo, Touma does not have his armor. So, ignore that part and just go with the facial expressions. XD

Also, he's already finished off a good portion of the cookies in the basket. XD}

[His morning had been a less than amusing one. From the new freaks in the prison to Wright stealing his communicator--more like confiscating it, as if he were a child--well, Miles had had enough. You can find him in the coffee shop now, his features sour. At least this place served tea. It was decent enough. Occasionally, he'll take slow, savoring sips, but he's in a pretty foul mood. That's what happens when he doesn't get enough sleep. Approach at your own risk!]

[ And today's transmission reveals... about 90 minutes of a one [1] restrained young man staring, possibly without blinking.

Suddenly, action, as our fellow approaches the communicator: close-ups to a (left) red eye, fingers tapping the lens ( knock-knock!), a nostril sniffing the device, and finally, a peek of his...teeth and tongue... as they seem intent to bite - no, don't do that, it's unsanitary - phew, he's decided against chomping the lens and in favour of ---

...giving it a tentative lick.

Nom. Nom. Nom.

Sadly, the camera is not delicious enough, and he backs away. ]

...no tea.

[ Yes, okay, you've won the battle, evil not-tea machine. But the war has not yet been fought until both sides of this shiny, shiny card are displayed before the camera! ]

[Kaoru's words had been the catalyst, and the sight of his empty room upon arrival had only confirmed his suspicions - the bare walls, the complete lack of furniture. True, he had never been one for excessive decoration, but he was also not one to sleep on the floor.

Well and so - he'd been gone. How long, he had a decently accurate guess, but there was really was only one person he could ask. And for all he knew, the removal of his belongings was some elaborate trick concocted by Tamaki.

So here he was, in front of Tamaki's door, his hand having just left the wood in a series of succinct knocks.]

[ Did she, did she dream all of that? The angel attack, the coma, the momentary lapse of insanity - ]

[ her head is aching, which only serves to exacerbate her already spoiled mood further. ]

Oh come on, you could have at least let me kill all of them! Stupid robot. I only had three left - I could have beat them all in the next minute. But no, all I get is a splitting headache. Thanks a lot.

[ closes her eyes and massages her temples, and -- actually manages a smile ] ...I forgot how good it feels to kill angels.
