[Immediately he searched out the familiar vampires in the vicinity, there shouldn't be this many. Hanabusa should be nearby, but wasn't. There was a large number of vampires that he didn't recognize, more than should be within the Hunter Association grounds. Immediately he thought that the association was under attack to retrieve the detained noble. He recognized one aura. Of course she'd come back for him.]

[Though, some of the aura seemed familiar outside of her. It took a few moments to place them. Kamui. Spike. Where am...?]

[That's about as far as he got before there was a large screech behind him and a burning sensation ripped into his back. Reacting instantly, he turned and drew his weapon, firing two clean shots through the raptor. Attempting to ignore the sharp pain and the scent of his own blood, Zero drew out his communicator. Though his head pounded and he felt a little confused about what was going on, he knew where he was. Turning on the voice function of the device, Zero asked a single question.]

Seems I dropped in at an inconvenient time, Marina. Someone care to fill me in on what exactly we are experiencing now?

[ calmly ] The monsters have started throwing themselves against the doors.

[Leopard is still in his recently claimed chamber in the Education Center Dining Hall, having seen no reason to move from there so far today.

To those who don't experience the blackout, he appears in perfect (well, a bit dim) lighting, but to others it's purely dark other than a glowing red 'eye' which shifts around.

Being a hikikomori and having an artificial eye, he has little trouble with the dark, preferring it even to the bright sun. Still it's a little dark for his tastes even, particularly since he can't have the glow of his personal computer's monitor on his eye.

Periodically the transmission is marred by static, interrupting the A.I.'s words.]

Why is this blackout last░░░░long? Acumen! I really must say, your power generation is really qui░░░░░░░░acular.

Spectacularly BAD that is!

[There's a gap in the transmission here for about thirty seconds.]

[He opens the door, but nothing is there. (At least that can be transmitted via camera.)]

Oh, what's this? You.... [He sounds delighted.] You must be Deinonychus leopardus! Now you've fin░░░░░░░peared to me at last! I was beginning to wonder if they were ly-

[There's another gap in the video and audio for about twenty seconds here.

When the static clears, Leopard is lying on the floor. He quickly floats back up, his eye going wide at the thin air.]

THAT HURT, YOU STUPID DEINONYCHUS LEOPARDUS! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?

[And then the transmission abruptly ends.]

[Wisely is really regretting his choice to sleep outside. He totally should have listened to that Euphemia girl about places to stay.... Well, what's done is done, and Wisely will stick it out by surviving.]

[You know what one of the awesome things about having a large family is? Having brothers and sisters that can kick ass for you. But Tyki's doing whatever and there's no Road or Cyril to cut down the monsters for him and there's definitely no Earl that could probably blow this place up. All in all today really sucks and nothing's helping.]

He's naturally inclined toward fighting, and he wants to seize the chance to join in a good battle, since he doesn't know when the chance will come again.
