[He's been keeping himself busy -- keeping his mind off of things. And sure, now he's literally dripping wet and there's a handful of strangers in his home. ...but it's better than feeling useless and not doing anything and brooding over his situation.

[It is high time he did something about his situation, isn't it? He'll start small.]

I'm curious. Why don't you tell me about your mother, fellow criminals?

I want to know if anyone's can compare to mine.

[After having a crappy day, Faith really likes nothing better than hitting the bar. And there she is, drinking a beer, soaked from outside. It's her third and she's still as sober as ever. This is the part where she wishes she wasn't a Slayer because holy, how many beers does a Slayer need to get utterly smashed? The world will never know.]

[It was raining. She never really liked the rain.]

[In the convenience store, tentatively glancing out at the rain, is Sakura. She doesn't hate the rain, in fact she finds it lovely. Watching the rain just...brings some memories back to her. She's leaning heavily on the door frame, trying to take the weight off her right leg.]

[It's nice to see...and she drifts away in her own world for the time being.]

Tear Grants
The pressure is uncaring.

Unbearable.

Everywhere.

It cannot be called pain; that is too precise for the consuming sensation that mercilessly assaults it for simply existing. It sways, and pushes itself forward.

"                       "

Something that etches itself into its environment whenever it wakes. Whenever it moves. Ethereal threads creep about and spread as it constructs itself, the enlivened luster illuminating dark corners the dimmed lights do not reach. Veins expanding further than before, they plunder the unsuspecting life surrounding it.

Is this surface easier to move across, or is it because it has found sustenance that drives it?

But it is still not enough.

It laments.

[OOC: Time to add Reid, Miranda, Len and Sakura, along with a smattering of migraines, general lack of focus and feeling like they got smashed.

Only in the literal way, probably like by a 2x4 ♥]

[ At first, there is little other than silence as Yukari easily figures out how to get the thing work. At first, she had been angry, but it was only natural that she waited to calm down before she said anything, but not before a rather heavy sigh. ]

Listen, I’m sure someone thinks this is all really funny and all, but this isn’t the time for some elaborate prank. There’s no way this can be real, I mean, come on-- prison? If I was put on trial, why don’t I remember anything? Shouldn’t I be allowed a lawyer or something?

If this really is prison, you couldn’t have brought me at a worse time. I was in the middle of-- [ She stops herself. At the very least, can’t you send me home long enough to take care of this? [Doing the dishes himself, Zero ignored the bots around him as he worked. He liked doing things for himself and had wanted to complete this before Sakura's arrival. He'd asked her to meet him in the kitchen of sector zero, under the guise of doing him favor.]

[The favor wasn't a lie, more of an excuse. He intended to have her complete a favor for him after she arrived. But most importantly, he'd wanted to check up on her and ensure that she really was comfortable in the home she'd chosen. There were several others that had expressed an interest in taking her in when Zero had spoken to them that day, but he'd allowed her to make the choice herself.]

[Drying the last of the dishes, he moved to put it away and waited for the young girl to arrive.]
