[The video comes on and is somewhat shaky before straightening out. It's later in the afternoon, but sunny and the video shows trees and plants that let the location be known. The park.]

Stay still, Ritsuka. I wouldn't want to get anything wrong.

[The video is trained on the short boy with dark hair as he sits on a bench beneath a tall tree, the branches hanging down to dapple shading on him from overhead. He's wearing a purple kimono with cherry blossoms and is blushing.]

You look so cute Ritsuka, you don't have to be shy about it.

[Soubi quite likes when Ritsuka is shy though, and knows when he says such things the boy will blush and fidget. A hand enters the video and it's holding a paintbrush. To the side there is the corner of a canvas propped on a stand.]

--stop saying embarrassing things! [A sigh from Ritsuka, the blush becoming more prominent. The only part that actually moved were his ears, always ones to twitch under this kind of situation.]

[There's a chuckle before a sing-sing response.] Ritsuka told me not to lie~ Now, please keep your ears still.

[Soubi wonders what Ritsuka will think when he finds that Soubi is purposefully broadcasting all of his cuteness.]

[He didn't mean to completely pass out outside in the park. Kyouya had just been taking a walk and when he didn't feel like walking anymore he sat down to take a short break.

Apparently all the worrying he'd been doing made him more exhausted than he'd realized because now here he was, sprawled out on a bench completely oblivous to the world around him.]

[Cloud is in the park observing the kite flying and strange garb with curiosity. He's not joining in despite how inviting it seems. It reminds him vaguely of Wutai and some of their traditions -- but he hasn't really seen this sort of holiday before. A little confused about it but still intrigued he leans up against a tree and seems to be thinking about something.]


...She -- probably would've loved a day like this. [His voice is soft. There's no indication as to who he's talking about -- but judging from how he's saying it it's someone that isn't here.]

[ It would seem that the Master is outside the library -- it's not clear whether he's just come out of it or is just about to go inside but apparently, he is one to pay attention to the fact that one shouldn't talk inside a library. Manners: he does have them, he just doesn't always make use of them. Feel free to pester him in person.

Regardless, he glances up at the entrance to the building for a brief moment, before turning his attention back to the headset; he speaks clearly and calmly, his tone level. ]

And yet more join us. It's almost as if Sentience doesn't want us to get lonely. It really is cute, isn't it? Thoughtful, even. Or maybe quaint would be the better word. (There's a slight pause and he seems to brighten for the briefest of moments, as if remembering something.)

--Oh! But it's children's day. Next thing we know, Sentience will be arranging a prison wide game of hide and seek. I wonder what we'd find, what secrets are hidden here. (He smiles for a moment.) Because, you see, I get the feeling that there are a large number of skeletons being hidden (his tone switches to something bordering on sympathetic and compassionate) and skeletons like those are going to be woefully detrimental to the rehabilitation Sentience hopes and believes we're all capable of.

Maybe story-time would be better than hide-and-seek -- what do you think? Oh, and sleep tight. I'm sure all bed bugs have been taken care of.

Okay, so... I've been thinking.

[ pause ] Oh, if you're a kid, you probably shouldn't listen to this. I have no idea how many of you are out there, but Fletcher, Xion, and you other kids, this means you, okay?

I think we should come up with a way to convince Sentience to let us have sex.

I know we have some smart people here, I'm sure we can figure something out.

[Bending down and tentatively patting doggy Kaname, who's sticking to Yuuki's side like glue. She giggles as he rolls over.]

[Jennifer's spent the greater part of her morning running around trying to get some of the photos she's taken developed and added to her photo album collection because Sentience pulled through! It's a happy day and there's so much she wanted to do and participate in and... But first comes first.]

[Voice] Oh Cheri~ Hughes~ I have pictures of Yu-chan now! Wanna meet me in the park? I have sandwiches too! [mutters half to herself] Where have they been? I haven't seen or heard from either one of them in days...

[If you'd like to stop by and see Jennifer, she'll be sitting on a nice large blanket out in the park with her albums spread all over the place and generally watching the kiddies and if you'd like her to tag an existing thread/post leave a link? orz.

[Lockon was outside in Sector 4, staring up at the starless night sky. The more he looked at it, trying to paint the starts with his mind, the more it hurt him to think. After a while, he was content to just sit on a bench and stare at the way the light played on the flowers in the memorial gardens.]

[He had made up his mind earlier in the day, but now it was time to go through with his decision. Lockon put on his headset to make some calls to friends, as he made his way toward the hospital.]

[Lady Cheri didn't even comment when Josak broadcasted on the Network in his lovely uniform and he hasn't been able to track her. So yeah, he's trying to see if what he thinks happened is true.]
