[It's been a pretty good day. He's been freed from the ball and chain, he's gotten himself a pet who seems happy enough (if a little nervous) with him so far, he's picked up soccer again; he didn't expect his first free day to be so busy, but he prefers it like this. Always moving, not too much time to think.
However, now that it's dark and silent and he's alone on one of the beach's blankets watching the meteors fall, he can't do anything but think. More useless, half-panicked thoughts about the mess left back at home; bitter thoughts about how Acumen has apparently stopped the game and saved Nagi, so maybe he should be a bit happier; paranoid thoughts about whether or not to believe a word Acumen says; but mostly, confused thoughts about what to do now that he's here.
He takes a sip of his cider and tilts his head back further, trying to get lost in the spectacle above him. A little company might do him good, though.]
