[Video | Very Public][Action | Open] 'Cross Chocolate' Announcement
[A video feed activates a bit after 8 AM, showing a perky blonde dressed in a rather red yet stylish tuxedo, complete with a top hat, a white rose pinned to her chest, and a cane in her hand.]
Hi! Some of you might not know me, but I'm Milly Ashford!
Since many of you here are of school age, Nunnally and I have decided that this is the perfect place for a Student Council! [Even if it is technically unofficial for now, it's not like there's money to worry about, right? She just hasn't really had the nerve or chance to discuss it with Euphemia yet, what with her weird behaviour...] If you don't know, a Student Council is a group of students who help organize the student body for events such as cultural festivals and also helps manage relations and planning between school clubs!
But don't worry! Even if you're not a student, since this is an all-ages facility, you can still be a member or create your own clubs no matter your age! You'll just have to drop by and propose your club and we'll help set it up and make sure that everyone has their own space to work in with no conflicts!
We'll get to more details tomorrow, but more importantly, to kick off the founding of the Student Council, we're holding a special festival today for St. Valentine's Day! And don't worry, even if you're not a student you can take part!
Romance is, of course, the focus of St. Valentine's Day, so we want to help you out! And what better to use than chocolate?
So, today will be: Cross Chocolate Day!
For today, there's one special rule:
[She pulls a heart-shaped chocolate wrapped in pink foil out of a sleeve and holds it up for the camera.]
Anyone who gets his or her romantic target to eat a piece of their chocolate wins a date with him or her!
[Slight pause for any uproar, but it's not like she'll be answering return calls yet.]
But there's a catch! It will only count for people who are dressing as the opposite gender! But your target doesn't have to be dressed in either way, don't worry!
Furthermore, anyone who steals your chocolate and successfully eats it while crossdressed wins a date with you too! But they have to show you that they ate it, or else it won't count.
There's a few rules though...
First: no using physical force! Today is about romance, not violence. But any trick that doesn't hurt your target is okay, like putting it in other food! If you're threatened by anyone, contact Suzaku or someone from the Defense Force immediately. The Defense Force can null any date if they feel someone might be endangered. [It is a prison after all.]
Second: the chocolate has to be your own homemade chocolate! If you went to the Host Club event the other night, you should have some, but don't worry! You still have time to make some! There's still supplies available in the convenience store. There should be plenty, but if you run out, just ask a friend to loan you some of their leftover supplies!
Third: If you're allergic to chocolate, don't worry! You can always use other sweets like caramels, marzipan, or even cake! Just let everyone know as soon as possible so they don't try to feed you some!
Fourth: the dates can be platonic, don't worry if you're not interested or already have a partner! But if they do turn out romantic for both people involved, that's the best isn't it?
Fifth: you can win dates with multiple people! Don't worry! There's plenty of time to have fun and get to know each other!
Sixth: This isn't just for on campus! We're extending this special event to everywhere in the dome until this evening!
Finally: You can pick out an outfit at the Clothing Store, or of course, borrow from a friend. Make sure you wear something that looks nice, to be extra romantic!
We'll tally up the results in the evening, so everyone let me know about your successes then!
Now: [Milly raises her arm up, cane extended towards the camera.]
((OOC: Make sure to read the info post!
Action open to any parties interested in tracking her down following her broadcast.))
