rebecca > komui
Rebecca doesn’t know a lot about Komui either, but she knows that he’s got his own hardships. He doesn’t act directly in his world’s war but he’s always worrying about those who are. It’s… also admirable, and a feeling she can really relate to. While she is one of the frontrunners left in the Assassin’s Order and trained not unlike any of the other members of it, she’s firstly tech support. Supporting Desmond, her cell. She’s not star of the story, but she’s always worrying for him—watching Desmond fight because he’s the only one, in a sense, that can in the way that’ll win them the war. And sitting back and watching is taxing. It hurts. And yet you endure, because you have to, and you do what you can to make it easier for those who suffer harder.
Komui’s kind of wacky in a way, very friendly, yet she doesn’t doubt it’s a diversion away from the blatant seriousness of his line of work. Which she also gets. She’s grateful that she can, in a sense, do something by watching Cross after his Innocence… infusion-thing and help Komui by keeping tabs, letting him know if anything goes sour.
