Lore is many things, not all of them particularly charitable, but one thing that he is not is stupid. Unstable? Sure. Megalomaniacal? Hey, it happens. But he's never dumb. And right now, he's brand new, which means he's not tipping his hand in any way to the largely biological life forms around him. (Or virtual representations thereof? Really, though, who cares.)
So he walks about, keeping his expression carefully neutral. He's not exactly thrilled to be imprisoned, but he very much doubts they'll manage to hold him for long. Besides, it beats floating in space for a couple of years. Or being deactivated and disassembled.
Again.
[ sector 6 ]
Oh, he noticed the warnings. He's just not particularly impressed by them. Warnings are for lesser, more fragile life forms, with poor reflexes and dull intellect. Whatever's here, he's absolutely certain he can outmatch it.
So he goes in, fortunate enough to not be forcibly humbled before he makes it to the lake, and spares a moment to observe it calmly. Eventually he'll move on, suspecting that something of meaning or value must be in this sector, somewhere.
