Position applied for: Trowa is far more suited for patrol. He's used to being a fighter and that's what the majority of his skills are in, being handy with weapons, hand-to-hand, and having the fitness level needed for an acrobat. He could also do emergency response if needed, having no problems going into situations he knows are dangerous and he potentially has the disadvantage.
There is no sector preference.
Is your character psychologically fit? Please elaborate: If there was a someone who should be in crisis situation, it would have to be Trowa. He's able to keep a cool, rational head even in the middle of a mobile suit battle. He's not easily stressed out and can be given a task, left alone, and barring any disaster it will be completed. The only issue is that he tends to have a low opinion of himself as a person because of his past, but he'd never let that effect his job.
How much of this would the interview team be able to read?: They would be able to tell most of this by his own words. He keeps expression very neutral about 95% of the time. Any indication of his low self-esteem would be in words, not in reactions. He tends to be rather up front when a mission is not involved.
What skills/knowledge/powers/experience does your character possess which would be an asset to the position(s) they are applying for? He has fighting skills, such as with guns and hand-to-hand. He could likely use blades, but it wouldn't be something that he would be as competent with (if asked about these, he would admit immediately he doesn't use them). He also has higher than normal strength and agility. At least part of it would be because he is an acrobat. This makes him ideal for combat situations. It may or not prove useful at some point, but he does have an ability to communicate with animals as well. Also if it should be needed at some point, he does know how to drive and pilot a mobile suit.
How competent is your character in his/her skill set?: Trowa is very competent with his fighting skills. Though never compared to others in their world, Trowa is able to draw and aim his gun before an apple he was holding hit the ground. He's also the only character in Wing who can basically leap from the ground to many times their height (and land safely). He wouldn't freeze during a test. Most he might do is pause to analyze the situation.
Would you like to play out the interview?: Either is fine.
