Position applied for: Combat team. No sector preference, though 6 may be a bit too extreme for an average human like this.
Is your character psychologically fit? Please elaborate: As a baseline, Aidan is a very stable individual. He keeps a level head, compartmentalizes when needed and is good at focusing on the end goal even when the going gets tough — very mind over matter. That said, he also suffers from PTSD and depression at the moment, at a level where he's still functional but... well. A little less stable than normal. Having a purpose usually helps him deal with issues so there's a good chance the routines of the Defence Force and feeling like he's needed will balance all that out, but depending on the situation it could also come to the surface and flare up in hypervigilance, or if it triggers in the other direction... crippling flashbacks. On an average day none of this should be too much of a problem though.
How much of this would the interview team be able to read?: Eeeeeverything. All of it. He's an open book and although he may be a bit reluctant to admit to certain issues he's also a firm believer of being honest and facing yourself, so... yeah. Reid also already knows a little through what Helix has told him, so there is that.
What skills/knowledge/powers/experience does your character possess which would be an asset to the position(s) they are applying for? Okay, let's be honest here. Aidan is an average human man with no superpowers and no official training. However, he does have some characteristics that would be very... malleable. He has a soldiers mindset and thrives on following someone else's orders. He's physically fit from farm work and later working in a military camp — while he did no actual fighting (yet) he is well aware of generic army routines by now. He also has some unofficial hand to hand combat training (sparred with a cage fighter when he was younger) so while he's more of a bar brawler, he's not completely without form.
Good with a baseball bat. Also familiar with handguns and hunting rifles. Decent aim, too.
How competent is your character in his/her skill set?: Aidan is not the best in the world at anything, nor will he ever be such. He is however very consistent and kind of the perfect Jack of all trades — not brilliant at anything specific, but he knows a little bit about a lot of survival based skills. He's also a good student and as long as he's not required to do book learning, I'd say he's even decently fast. He's the kind of kid you want on your team not because he's an awesome fighter, but because he's reliant. He will be there when he said he'd be there, no questions asked.
Would you like to play out the interview?: N, as that would be awkward.
Would you like to play out the skills test?: Y? Maybe Y? Not necessary but it could be fun.
