Spider-Man (Peter Parker) | The Amazing Spider-man | breakspromises
Position applied for: See the roster for details on various positions. Please also state whether or not they would be interested in a leadership position regardless of whether that is available or possible at this time. Certain positions require certain psychological or physical strengths and this is something the interview and skills teams will be paying attention to. Your character may pass the interview, but still require training before they are officially allowed to join a team.
If you are seeking a combat role in patrolling and emergency response, do you have a sector preference?
Patrol/Emergency Response:
"Spider-man" would not be interested in leadership at this time. Eventually, I think he'll grow into that, but at the moment he's still figuring out what being Spider-man means and how to best accomplish that. As he gets comfortable with that, the dome and gets some experience this could change.
Is your character psychologically fit? Please elaborate: He is pretty psychologically fit considering everything he's gone through as a seventeen year old. Sure, especially as Spider-man, he can be a cocky, little smart ass, but he's learned that his powers need to be used to help people, not to get revenge. He's got a good heart and pretty strong moral compass to the point that he doesn't curse; he doesn't kill people and even his revenge on his life-long bully was relatively minor. He handles stress reasonably well. He tends to internalize it and go looking for punishment (IE getting beat up more than necessary). He is all too eager to accept guilt that may nor may not be his. He is a teenage boy, so he is prone to some melodrama and sometimes he has a hard time expressing himself verbally. He's very protective of the people he cares about and he takes that protectiveness very seriously.
How much of this would the interview team be able to read?: All of it, for the most part, Spider-man doesn't have secrets beyond what his daily identity is (IE he wouldn't tell anyone he was Peter Parker by day.) This might change as he grows to trust people.
I know Reid and the other profilers would probably guess some things he's unwilling to tell them (like who he is even by his body language, even if he IS more confident as Spider-man than he is as Peter Parker) and that's entirely and totally fine with me. They could even approach him about it if cr/rp led that way.
