Position applied for: Dispatch and Patrol/Emergency Response if I can apply for two. No sector preference.
Is your character psychologically fit? Cordelia's used to stress. As a member of Angel Investigations and having lived on the Hellmouth, Cordelia's used to things that aren't exactly the norm. Her response is to panic, but she does handle a situation very well once she takes those few seconds to freak out and gain her bearings. She used to guide the Angel Investigations crew with her visions, as well as organising the business with really lovely drawn business cards, answering phones, getting information from clients, and ensuring that the gang is paid for a job well done. She's been the secretary, a kick-ass combatant, and the telephone for the Powers That Be to send their messages to Angel.
How much of this would the interview team be able to read?: Cordelia is honest. She makes faces, she says what she thinks, and she sticks by them. She's an open open open book. She doesn't hide any part of herself, even when she tries really hard, so what you see is literally what you get. She's loyal to her friends and is not likely to give out information pertaining to them without sussing out what the goal is behind the person who is asking. But that's not to say she won't run her mouth and accidentally slip.
What skills/knowledge/powers/experience does your character possess which would be an asset to the position(s) they are applying for? Abilities + skills. A quick rundown: Cordelia has her visions, which are really helpful when guiding people in the right direction. She does have some demonic powers leftover from Jasmine, which include levitation, photokinesis (light manipulation), and purification/healing. The purification/healing thing is a bit weird because of how it wasn't explained properly in canon, but she was able to get rid of these ugly slug like things from the Hyperion and save everyone from not being dehydrated as a result.
As for skills, Cordelia's been Angel Investigations' secretary from the get go. She's used to organising, setting up clients, collecting the money, and ensuring the gang gets the job properly done. She has her visions, which she acts as a guide. She's used to running a business dealing with abnormal things such as saving damsels in distress from one-eyed demons who insert eyes in the back of skulls, being thrown into alternate dimensions where she's the ruler, and battling evil lawyers who can't die.
How competent is your character in his/her skill set?: She's by no means the best in her world at managing or kicking ass or having visions. Cordelia's really good at reading her visions. She's really good at managing people. But she has her faults, of course. Sometimes Wesley has to step in and use his contacts to find information because she hasn't been privvy to it, as seen in 3x06 with Billy, and sometimes Gunn's experience is best used. She's known to misread her visions, as seen when she tried to save Gunn from an unknown force that happened to be himself. But that's not to say she isn't competent. Cordelia goes for it and doesn't stop. She makes errors because she's human, but she goes out of her way to correct those errors and takes responsibility for it.
She's not the best fighter, but she's capable of using a sword and swinging things. She can even stake vampires pretty well, so she might not be a Slayer or someone who is super strong like a vampire, but she can hold her own. She went after Billy despite being told not to; she can use a cross-bow and feels confident enough with regards to protecting herself. She goes out of her way to make herself better by practicing and asking for help.
Would you like to play out the interview?: No, thanks.
Would you like to play out the skills test?: No, thanks.
