Certainly, his relationship with Wade has been one of the strangest here, most of their getting to know each other done even more virtually than everything else and never quite sure how much of it was real or not, but they had some good times in that imagined future and there's that connection with Kirk that links them both too.

"Only if you'll sign mine," he chuckles, though he is rather wishing there were some way of taking physical memories with him. He's got quite a few mementoes here he's going to be sad to lose again.

"How are you feeling? Know what you're going to do?"

	Well, we'll see how long it lasts. Considering his luck lately, probably not long at all - gotta get that sequel made somehow! "Breaking out on your own, huh? I can respect that. Somehow, all that angst and drama in the future seems a long time ago, now. They've come such a long way in the last few weeks.

"I don't know," he admits, and then shrugs, smiling. "But I think we've got a much better chance now than we would have done if all that stuff in the fake future hadn't forced us to actually address the issues that pulled us apart there!"

Practically unheard of but he's glad it's working out in this way than something more disastrous. Love is hard to find and it's so easy to lose it even when you have it. It doesn't matter how much you want something, how hard you try. Sometimes life has other plans.

He chuckles. "Oh, it's been known," he says dryly, because - hey, time-traveller here! He knows all about self-defeating prophecies.

He shrugs. "I don't know how long it'll last, between the three of us. But to be honest, a lot of those problems we had in that future were because we were stuck in here, forever. Out there in the wide universe... it'll be different. More people to interact with, unlimited places to see..."

More ways to fuck it up...

	Good thing this mask is so articulate, because he's sure as hell raising a brow at that trailing sentence. Maybe it's good that Jack's got some place to swing his tail, but also...yeah.
