Putting up tents is really not his kind of thing (he normally just stands around ordering other people to get on with setting up camp), but he takes the pole anyway and waits for Phanan to tell him where he wants it.
And gives him a surprised look at that statement. "Really? It just makes me feel frustratingly helpless!"
