[ Guess who stayed perhaps a little too long in Sector 5 over night? To be fair he had a good reason for it but he's still cutting it a little too close for comfort, stumbling into a half-run the last few yards into Sector 0, turning around as he's passed the Sector 5 gate to watch it just disappear.

This is when he turns on the video feed, showing a whole lot of nothing. The absence of being there, anti-existence, your eye just glides off it without finding purchase. ]

They weren't kidding. This place is really going to the dogs.

[ He turns the camera on himself, a bit of blood still smeared at the corner of his mouth, forgotten from his meal earlier. ]

To those it may concern... Tyki Mikk isn't going to be bothering anyone anymore.

[ And with that he shuts off the feed. ]

[It's been awhile since he's seen Spike look this shaken and he pulls him into his arms without hesitation, very much like Spike did with him when Tyki reappeared.]

Tell me what happened. [He knows he's repeating himself but it's for both their sake now. He needs to hear it just as much as Spike needs to get this off his chest and I can't imagine there's anyone else here he can actually do that with.]

[ He doesn't resist being wrapped up, although he doesn't feel like he needs to be comforted all that much. If anything he's high on adrenaline and a little bit of disbelief that what happened actually happened, topped with a pinch of grief at the prospect of never seeing Tyki again. Like always, that last bit will be kept to himself. ]

He stayed behind. Willingly. To repent for his sins.

[He doesn't know how to feel about that revelation. Tyki is gone, and that's a relief, certainly but the fact that he stayed means Spike was right, that what they did to him worked, that he chose to die alone in remorse and pain. He can't feel good about that. In the end the whole situation leaves a bad taste in his mouth. There wasn't ever going to be a good way to resolve it.]

I wish I could say I'm sorry and mean it, but I don't know that I can. I know you two were close.

	I suppose not. [Doesn't mean he's happy about it. Not that he can see any better way to resolve this, not if Tyki really was in bad enough shape to choose to stay.] It feels like the end of the world. You know it doesn't bother me. [The sexy biting thing may have been something they've only done during their fake engagement but the attitude Ianto has towards blood is still more or less the same. It's something he needs to survive, he's known that from the start and he can't judge him for it anymore than he could judge Jack for his immortality. It's simply a fact of who he is. If he's made uncomfortable by anything it's the circumstances of it, nothing more. Then again, Tyki is gone for good now. Does any of it really matter anymore? In the face of everything that's happened these last few days, everything that is still happening, it's hard to know how he feels about it. The same mixture of regret and relief he does about Tyki's fate, most likely.]

How was he? At the end, I mean.

[Knowing he could forgive Spike and not Tyki is part of the problem for him. He doesn't like feeling like a hypocrite even if he knows that, for him, the two experiences could never compare.]

I'm glad you didn't stay with him. It's so hard not to see the similarities between what we did to both of you. The fact that you aren't sitting out in a Sector waiting for it to disappear is the only shred of good I can see in any of this.

Call me conceited but I think I will take credit for it. [He could use a win right now and this one sounds like one he can believe. He can feel the tension he's been carrying around for the past two days begin to slowly vanish with that squeeze. He had been so sure someone was going to be hurt, that there would be a target Tyki would want to take revenge on that he can't quite believe it isn't true. Everyone is alright. Well, everyone besides Tyki. He wishes he had more time to enjoy it instead of focusing on the next looming disaster.]

What happened when the Sector vanished? Did it just disappear?

Must be something to do with the programming I suppose. [Always more Tosh's strength than his but that description certainly makes it sound permanent, as though it really is gone for goodness. No tricks, not this time.]

The Blood Shack's gone. [He's not one to get too sentimental or attached to physical things. He's watched far too many of them disappear. Still, that one stings a bit. It was their place, and he hates to lose it.]
