The only reason he sought out Spike first yesterday was because he knew exactly where he could find him. As shaken up as he'd been the idea of calling Jack, figuring out where to meet, it had all just felt too much. Easier to make a bee line to the Blood Shack. And even with talking to Jack yesterday it's still so entirely different and good to see him here in person and just hold him. Right now Spike's offer to move in temporarily is a very welcome one if it means he has both of them close to him.
If he's honest he's more terrified by the idea of Tyki hurting someone else than the thought of being a target again. And both Jack and Spike seem like prime candidates for it. They're some of the strongest people left here, Jack at least opposed him in the past and they're both connected to him. No, he really didn't sleep well last night with thoughts like that to keep him company.
