[The camera opens up on a dimly lit room, only the sight of a man's hands hovering over the keys of a piano. He cracks his knuckles and then his fingers glide over the keys, starting into and playing out a solid rendition of Für Elise without error. The further into the song the faster his hands move, until the end where he abruptly shuts the lid of the piano closed.

He leans down to look in the lens, offering a wide (and wicked?) grin.] I'm up for taking some requests on what to play next.

Oh, but if you'd only put a little more faith in me. There are things, people, in the world that I would've never laid a hand on. Friends of mine own friend no exception. But I suppose I can see where you're coming from, I would've defended them the same, threatened to shove a cross in your gut should you get any ideas.

As I remember it, that's exactly what you did. [ So you see where he's coming from. Some people are off limits and you have to respect that and he'll extend that as much as he can and warn the rest and hopefully nothing will happen. Maybe he can even talk Tyki into laying low for as long as possible, for his own sake. Really don't want to end up in the middle of all that, even less so now. ]

[ That brings him pause. It's not that he doesn't want to, hell no, he's not exactly drowning in friends here and even if he was Tyki is... Tyki is something else. He woke up urges in him long before Ianto came along and it's not the same but it means something nonetheless. There was a time when all he had was Tyki. You don't throw that away.

So he fakes a sigh, rubs his forehead as if that'll spark some great explanation. ]

You've been gone awhile... a lot has changed. It's complicated. [ But... but. ] But I don't think I could stay away from you if I wanted to.

That's the spirit. [Tyki says, though in honesty he'd prefer to be left alone. It's funny, a little sad, but if he has to suffer through more company it might as well be Spike. But now he doesn't know how far he can trust you, how much you've weakened in resolve. Would you let them get their due revenge, if they wanted it? Now that he's this miserable void of a man, and unable to-]

[ Funny, that. If anything his resolve is stronger than it's ever been, although perhaps his priorities have shifted. If there really was anyone around who could take on Tyki - and he doubts there is - he'd stay in this position, a road block between them and the Noah. It goes both ways, you know. You leave Ianto alone, he'll make sure the rest of the dome leaves you alone. ]

Gotta cash in that drink before she changes her mind. [And he feels that'll take a lot out of him for the night, all this energy in him is bound to take a curve spiraling downward soon enough.]

And who knows, maybe I'll kill someone if I feel like it. [He says this as offhand as he would've before, mostly because he wants to weigh Spike's reaction. There's nothing in him that wants to actually do it, a relief and a feeling of pity for himself spreading like a toxin. This is what he's become.]

I noticed. [He says in a tone just shy of mocking, but in reality - he was so weak before to like humans when he was better than them. It was half of who he was, all of what he's left as. Perhaps he never fell in love with one quite the same way, but only a rigid regiment of balance prevented it. A regiment no longer in play, so... ]

Here I thought you said I'd have a chance next after Rose. [Who he assumes is no longer with them, much like the Sheriff.]
