[He chews on his lip, and seems uncomfortable, but he's not new to delivering bad news.]

They're still prisoners, like us. Our real bodies are somewhere else, in comas, or stasis, or ... something like that. Our bodies are being kept alive in pods. We're only here mentally?

[He's not all up on the terminology and particulars.]

When people disappear from here, it's just their mental selves that leave. Their physical bodies are still in those pods somewhere else, I guess, disconnected.

[Keith wasn't sure he liked the fact that Nico asked that question to start. But he nodded. And listened. And really didn't like what he was hearing. It meant that Lance didn't go home. He wasn't sure what was worse... being stuck in stasis but aware and interacting with others, or being stuck in stasis and completely oblivious to anything... just... in limbo. He stared for a second, and then got angry.]

What the quiznak? Are they doing anything to fix that?

They said the original captors still had our bodies, too, right? So, that means, Lance is being completely held by them now.

[Though...]

Does that mean that maybe those people can steal us back again?
