Day 435 | Voice
I need, a really big aspirin, or several bottles of wine ... A face massage maybe? No, that would probably still hurt my brain. I used to wish I knew what people were thinking mostly one person really; can I amend that now? Can I just get one person at a time and not everyone all at once?
Oliver, Laurel, thank you so, so much for all your help yesterday. You are literally my heroes; in some cases again. I should buy - or get, you guys a drink, or dinner or something. Just name it.
Darcy, I also owe you a drink or dinner or whatever too for helping me keep Oliver from eating Ray.
Action
Action 1
Felicity has opted to stay home today. Her head feels like it was full of bees and they've all stung her brain. So she's decided that she just can't today. There are probably things she needs to do and she should probably eat, but at the moment she'd rather just not move. Instead she'd opted for an ice bag on her head and wincing at any form of light.
"This is a migraine right? This is what a migraine feels like."
Oliver the kitten has chosen to place himself on her lap where she has one arm draped over him and is petting his back.
Action 2
So, she'd talked about the whole 'not going out' thing, but that didn't work when you actually needed more ice and things that are cold ... like emotional assistance ice cream. Putting on a pair of sunglasses she finally decides to venture out into the world. It doesn't matter what time it might be because sunglasses are required since her bee stung brain hasn't gotten any better.
Even with the headache - or maybe because of it - she's thinking about home. About how on a normal day back home she'd probably be in the Arrowcave right now. Diggle would have probably brought her Tylenol and coffee. Oliver would ask if she was alright. His brows would crinkle and he'd frown. One of those rare and pure looks he'd been showing more and more. Roy would worry about her and give her a reassuring shoulder squeeze.
The more she thought about it, about what she was missing and the family that she'd probably never see (except of course Oliver who was here) the more she couldn't help the frown from growing on her face. She knew that everyone felt that way. There would always be someone that you missed if you were ripped away. Her feelings weren't really that special. Everyone was hurting and it might be a good idea to do something for them. Something, not insanely weird like they usually got, but something actually nice. She just needed to think of something.
