Perhaps in shock or simple ignorance, Sara had failed to notice the numerous food vendors about the street. The blond studied them a moment in curiosity. All of them appeared to be rather robotic in their movements and actions. It was rare for Sara to say it, but it was rather creepy actually. Before Sara could comment on the disturbing sight, Ray shrugged and tossed the remainder of his cone in the trash. Yes, there did seem to be a lot of ice cream vendors around here today. Not that it was not a beautiful day and ice cream was fitting, but she couldn't remember the last time she'd seen the same vendors in the same area so close to one another.
Unfortunately for Sara, what Ray had to say was on a whole new level of disturbing. According to the Atom, they were abducted by a mysterious organization in which they knew nothing about. Trapped in a simulation, something like the Matrix-Sara could take it or leave it-their actual bodies were in stasis pods. In other words, they weren't real? They were holograms? "If it wasn't for the fact that we time traveled, I would say that sounds insane," Sara replied with half smile. "So, we're not really here, but what happens to us here, happens there?" That was in the far out realm of science fiction and Sara had never been much for that particular genre. She was more keen on survival tactics.
"Year behind..." And that added in another level of absolute confusion...some what. Time travel was obviously not unbelievable to Sara, but that idea that they had been pulled from different points was unusual. Why not pull them from the same point in the timeline? Though, it didn't matter really, did it? Ray knew things...things Sara was yet to experience...life defeating Savage. Would this cause some type of issue if they were ever returned to their bodies? To their world? If Sara knew things...things that she could potentially change. "So, I shouldn't probably ask you what happens," Sara added after a moment, voice quiet. "It'd probably fuck up the timeline or more so than it is."
